President Prabowo Meets Investment Minister, Pushes for Acceleration of Downstreaming in 13 Locations Across Indonesia
Jakarta: President Prabowo Subianto received the Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of the Investment Coordinating Board (BKPM) Rosan Perkasa Roeslani. The meeting discussed the development of the downstreaming programme construction at 13 locations in various regions across Indonesia.
The meeting, held at President Prabowo’s private residence in Hambalang, West Java, was reported by Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Lieutenant Colonel Teddy Indra Wijaya via the Instagram account @sekretariat.kabinet.
“The next development of the downstreaming programme, which will soon be built at 13 locations in Indonesia,” said Seskab Teddy on Friday, 24 April 2026.
“Several investors who will invest in Indonesia, particularly in the fields of Waste to Energy, Mineral Resources, as well as Agricultural Industry, Labour-Intensive, and Garments,” Teddy stated in his remarks.
Furthermore, Teddy explained that the Head of State, in his directions, emphasised that the downstreaming programme should not only focus on the energy and mineral sectors. President Prabowo ordered the downstreaming programme to be expanded to the agriculture and fisheries sectors.
“President Prabowo wants downstreaming not only in the energy and mineral fields but also to be expanded in the agriculture and fisheries fields,” said Seskab Teddy.
