In his speech, President Prabowo stated that the establishment of KDKMP is a government initiative to encourage acceleration of economic growth at the village and urban levels.
The operation of KDKMP is expected to provide various benefits to the community. One of them is providing access to basic necessities at affordable prices and low-interest capital credit services.
Through Merah Putih Cooperatives, President Prabowo said that his administration would distribute low-interest loans to the people.
He is optimistic that the presence of KDKMP will be able to stimulate economic activity in villages so that village or urban communities will become more independent by optimizing the economic potential in their respective areas.
This is also supported by the completeness of KDKMP services in meeting community needs, such as providing basic necessities outlets, distributing LPG gas, subsidized fertilizers, logistics services, distribution of government assistance, and pharmacy outlets.
“There will be affordable drug pharmacies. We will ensure that medicines are as cheap as possible for people throughout Indonesia,” said President Prabowo.
