President Prabowo Joins Shrimp Harvest in Kebumen

Kebumen, CNBC Indonesia - President Prabowo Subianto observed the bountiful shrimp harvest at the BUBK (Area-Based Shrimp Farming) site in Tegalretno Village, Petanahan District, Kebumen Regency. The farm achieved a productivity of 40 tonnes per hectare, among the highest globally. Accompanied by several ministers from the Merah Putih Cabinet, the President witnessed the harvest process at the Kebumen BUBK farm and personally participated in netting the shrimp. Currently, the farm employs 650 local workers, and the government plans to replicate the project in other regions, including 2,000 hectares in Waingapu, 200 hectares in Gorontalo, and 14,000 hectares along West Java’s North Coast.
