After the inspection, Prabowo proceeded to the inauguration site, which began with a report from Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin. In his report, Budi stated that the construction of RSUD Krui is part of a programme to build 66 hospitals in various regions aimed at strengthening referral healthcare services. “At your instruction, we are very grateful for the trust given. Sixty-six hospitals, including this one, were built so they can serve stroke, heart, cancer, kidney, maternal, and child illnesses. So that all five main causes of death are treated here and resolved here,” he said. Budi also explained that the physical construction of the hospital had been completed and a number of medical devices were in the process of being delivered. Additionally, specialist medical personnel are now almost entirely available to support the hospital’s operations. “The building is finished, Sir. The equipment is on its way here. There are tens of billions of rupiah worth. The doctors are almost all complete, except for the heart specialist, Sir. So we will take one from Lampung,” Budi continued. In his speech, Prabowo expressed gratitude that the people of West Pesisir now have access to adequate healthcare. As a result, the public no longer needs to travel to the nearest referral hospital, which is three hours away by road. “I warmly welcome and with great pride and happiness I can be present here, and I am delighted that the West Pesisir Regency here in Krui City can now get access to adequate health services,” said Prabowo. Prabowo stressed the importance of professional, public service-oriented hospital management. He requested that all hospital ranks maintain service quality so that the benefits can be genuinely felt by the community. “I urge that this hospital be managed well, its cleanliness maintained, with professional, transparent management that is oriented towards serving the people and the community. The people and community must feel the tangible benefits of this hospital’s presence,” he asserted.
