President Prabowo Subianto has officially inaugurated the young civil servants of the 33rd cohort of the Institute of Home Affairs Governance (IPDN), emphasising that the nation requires leaders who are dedicated and work to the best of their abilities. “Our people do not need leaders who do not work to the best of their ability,” President Prabowo stated during the ceremony in Jatinangor, Sumedang, West Java, marking their readiness to serve the community. He stressed that the path of service they have chosen is not an easy one, but is filled with obstacles, challenges, and demands sacrifice. The President asserted that the Indonesian public needs a bureaucracy that is honest, disciplined, clean, free from corruption, and courageous in making decisions on the ground. He further noted that these young civil servants are the primary drivers of the government bureaucracy, who will determine the success of future national development programmes. The President also instructed them to always strengthen cooperation and collaboration with the Indonesian National Armed Forces, the Indonesian National Police, the Attorney General’s Office, and all elements of society within their respective areas of duty.
