President Prabowo Holds Limited Meeting with DEN at Hambalang to Discuss National Economy and GovTech
President Prabowo Subianto held a limited meeting with the National Economic Council (DEN) at his residence in Hambalang, Bogor, West Java, on Tuesday (14/7/2026). The meeting focused on discussing the latest developments in the national economy amidst global dynamics.
DEN members in attendance included Mari Elka Pangestu, Chatib Basri, Firman Hidayat, Tubagus Nugraha, and Pantro Pander Silitonga. During the session, the DEN reported on the current state of the national economy and provided strategic recommendations for strengthening Indonesia’s economic position.
Additionally, the council reported on the refinement of GovTech as part of accelerating digital government transformation. According to the Cabinet Secretariat, the enhancement of digital-based government services is aimed at improving data accuracy and ensuring that government programmes reach the rightful beneficiaries. This effort seeks to minimise targeting errors, strengthen the effectiveness of aid distribution, and realise a more modern, efficient, and transparent governance system.
Besides the DEN members, several cabinet ministers were present at the meeting, including Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform Rini Widyantini, Minister for National Development Planning Rachmat Pambudy, State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. Presidential Special Assistants Dirgayuza Setiawan and Agung Gumilar also attended.
