President Prabowo holds bilateral talks in Abu Dhabi with UAE President

According to an official statement from the Presidential Secretariat here on Thursday, the president and his entourage arrived at the Presidential Flight terminal in Abu Dhabi Airport on Wednesday afternoon local time.

Disembarking from the Garuda Indonesia-1 jet, President Prabowo was welcomed by Emirati Minister of Energy and Infrastructure Suhail Al Mazrouei, Indonesian Ambassador to the UAE Judha Nugraha, and UAE Ambassador to Indonesia Abdulla Salem Al Dhaheri.

Upon arrival in Abu Dhabi, President Prabowo immediately departed for his hotel to prepare for his official agenda in the UAE.

President Prabowo is scheduled to meet President Mohammed bin Zayed Al Nahyan during the visit, underscoring the continued commitment to strengthening Indonesia–UAE relations.

The meeting and cooperation agenda planned during the visit are expected to enhance bilateral relations, according to the statement.

Prabowo’s visit to Abu Dhabi also reflected Indonesia’s active diplomacy in the Middle East and President Prabowo’s commitment to expanding Indonesia’s beneficial partnership network at the global level.

Before the UAE, the president visited Amman on February 24-25 for talks with King Abdullah II of Jordan. The two leaders focused their meeting on developments in Palestine, including the situation in Gaza and the West Bank.
