President Prabowo Evaluates Cabinet Performance, Highlights Fiscal and Economic Progress
President Prabowo Subianto has stated that various strategic issues hindering the nation’s progress are gradually being resolved, following an evaluation of his cabinet’s performance over the past 18 months. The assessment covered progress across multiple sectors, including food management, fertiliser distribution, LPG scarcity, education, and the establishment of the Indonesian Gold Bank.
During a plenary cabinet meeting, the government’s fiscal management capabilities and budget efficiency efforts were also highlighted. It was reported that the country’s financial situation is experiencing positive developments. Amid ongoing global conflicts and fiscal pressures, the nation’s economic engine recorded a gross domestic product growth of 5.61 percent in the first quarter of 2026.
