President Prabowo Departs for Lampung to Inaugurate KH Muhammad Thohir Regional Hospital

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto departed Jakarta for Lampung to inaugurate the Kiai Haji Muhammad Thohir Krui Regional General Hospital (RSUD). Monitored via a Presidential Secretariat broadcast, President Prabowo and a limited entourage left Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base, Jakarta, on Wednesday at 09.30 WIB. Accompanying the President on this working visit were Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Housing and Settlement Areas Maruarar Sirait, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya. The visit to Lampung had previously been disclosed by Health Minister Budi Gunadi Sadikin following a meeting with President Prabowo at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta on Tuesday afternoon. The meeting discussed, among other things, the construction of 66 regional hospitals across various parts of Indonesia. In 2025, 20 of the 22 planned regional hospitals have been completed, with 10 of them already operational. Also discussed were quick win programmes, specifically the free health check-up scheme and tuberculosis case management.
