President Prabowo Awards Honours to 10 Regional Police Forces and 2 Units on 80th Bhayangkara Anniversary

President Prabowo Subianto presented the Samkaryanugraha Nugraha Sakanti honour to two Indonesian National Police (Polri) work units and ten regional police forces (Polda) during the peak ceremony of the 80th Bhayangkara Day at the Brimob Training Centre in Cikeas, Bogor Regency, on Wednesday, 1 July 2026. The award was presented directly by President Prabowo, accompanied by National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo, as a form of appreciation for police units deemed to have rendered meritorious service to the community. The award ceremony began with the reading of the Presidential Decree by the President’s Military Secretary. The decree stated that the honour was awarded to police units for their service to the community. The Samkaryanugraha Nugraha Sakanti is an honour given to Polri units for service and dedication deemed beneficial to the nation and state. The two work units receiving the award were the Police Legal Division (Divkum Polri) and the Police Finance Centre (Puskeu Polri). Meanwhile, the same honour was also bestowed upon ten regional police forces: Polda Metro Jaya, Polda Banten, Polda West Java, Polda Central Java, Polda East Java, Polda North Sumatra, Polda Riau, Polda Lampung, Polda Central Kalimantan, and Polda West Nusa Tenggara (NTB). In addition to the award ceremony, the peak commemoration of the 80th Bhayangkara Day featured a series of activities, including a parade, personnel skill demonstrations, a march-past, and a thanksgiving event. Polri also showcased an exhibition of domestically produced primary and special equipment, and distributed social assistance to the community, including support tools for the agricultural sector.
