President Prabowo Attends NU National Conference and Congress in Bangkalan, Madura

President Prabowo Subianto conducted a working visit to East Java. During the visit, Prabowo attended the closing ceremony of the National Consultative Assembly (Munas) of Ulama and the Grand Conference (Konbes) of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) held at IAI Syaichona Mohammad Cholil, Bangkalan Regency.

On Tuesday (23/06/2026), Prabowo arrived at the venue at 13:45 WIB. He was welcomed by the Rais Aam of PBNU, Miftachul Akhyar; the Chairman of PBNU, Yahya Cholil Staquf; the Secretary General of PBNU, Saifullah Yusuf; and the Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar.

Prabowo was seen wearing a khaki safari suit complete with a peci. He shook hands with the Nahdliyin members who had been waiting for his arrival at the location.

Also in attendance were the Chairman of the MPR, Ahmad Muzani; the Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development, Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY); and the Coordinating Minister for Food, Zulkifli Hasan.

Furthermore, the presence of the Minister of State Secretary, Prasetyo Hadi; the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, Bahlil Lahadalia; the Minister of Religious Affairs, Nasaruddin Umar; the Minister of ATR/BPN, Nusron Wahid; the Cabinet Secretary, Teddy Indra Wijaya; and the Chairperson of the Advisory Board of PP Muslimat NU, Khofifah Indar Parawansa, was also noted.

Prior to this, Prabowo travelled to Sampang, Madura. There, he officially inaugurated the Kedungdung-Bringkoning Road in Sampang Regency, which is part of the implementation of the Presidential Instruction on Regional Roads (IJD).
