President Prabowo attends HIPMI XVII National Conference in Bandar Lampung

President Prabowo Subianto directly attended the opening of the 17th National Conference (Munas) of the Indonesian Young Entrepreneurs Association (HIPMI) in Bandar Lampung, Lampung Province, on Wednesday. Accompanied by the Chair of the HIPMI Honorary Council, who is also the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources (ESDM) Bahlil Lahadalia, the President arrived at the venue to the strains of the national song ‘Bangun Pemudi Pemuda’. President Prabowo took a moment to shake hands with several conference participants who had lined up to welcome him along the entrance route to the main seat. Upon reaching the front area, the President, together with HIPMI General Chair Akbar Himawan Buchari and all conference participants, stood to sing the national anthem Indonesia Raya together before taking their seats for the scheduled programme. Before delivering his directives and keynote speech, the President first listened to reports and remarks from the HIPMI General Chair and the HIPMI Honorary Council Chair at the podium. This 17th National Conference carries the strategic theme ‘Young Entrepreneur Synergy Building National Economic Strength’ as a foundation for the organisation’s future direction. The President’s presence at this young entrepreneurs’ forum followed an earlier event where he inaugurated the Kiai Haji Muhammad Thohir Regional General Hospital in Krui, West Coast Regency, Lampung Province.
