President Prabowo Attends Closing of NU National Conference in Bangkalan

President Prabowo Subianto delivered a speech at the closing of the National Conference of Religious Scholars (Munas) and Grand Conference (Konbes) of Nahdlatul Ulama (NU) at the IAI Syachona Mohammad Cholil in Bangkalan, East Java, on Tuesday (23/6/2026). The conference decided, among other matters, to hold the 35th NU Congress on 1-5 August 2026, with the location still awaiting an official decision from the NU Executive Board (PBNU).

A number of students waited for the arrival of President Prabowo Subianto during the closing event. PBNU Secretary General Saifullah Yusuf was also present, taking time to pose for photographs with members of the NU Muslimat wing.
