President Prabowo Attends 79th National Cooperative Day Summit

President Prabowo Subianto attended the peak celebration of the 79th National Cooperative Day (Harkopnas) at the Indonesia Arena, Gelora Bung Karno (GBK). Prabowo was welcomed by Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono and Chairman of the Indonesian Cooperative Council (Dekopin) Bambang Haryadi.

Prabowo arrived at 14:13 WIB, wearing a cream shirt and a black cap. He was greeted with enthusiasm by the participants. Also present were Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment Muhaimin Iskandar, Minister of Agrarian Affairs and Spatial Planning/Head of the National Land Agency Nusron Wahid, Chief of Presidential Staff Dudung Abdurrachman, National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit, and Attorney General ST Burhanuddin.

The Ministry of Cooperatives and Dekopin previously launched the commemoration of the 79th National Cooperative Day with the theme ‘Empowered Cooperatives, Glorious Indonesia’. Minister of Cooperatives Ferry Juliantono stated that the theme embodies the philosophy of synergy, collaboration, and solidarity. ‘Cooperatives do not move alone, but are based on the principles of kinship and mutual cooperation,’ Ferry said in a written statement.
