President Prabowo asks Nanik S. Deyang to help oversee National Nutrition Agency

State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi has stated that Nanik S. Deyang has been asked by President Prabowo Subianto to help oversee the implementation of the Free Nutritious Meals Programme at the National Nutrition Agency (BGN) following her resignation as its head. Speaking in Jakarta on Wednesday, Prasetyo Hadi noted that the President still wants Nanik to contribute, particularly in a supervisory capacity, to ensure the programme’s success and to help improve overall implementation and governance at the BGN alongside the new leadership. The President is set to inaugurate Sudaryono, currently the Deputy Minister of Agriculture, as the new definitive head of the BGN. In a separate statement on her social media, Nanik S. Deyang confirmed her resignation, explaining that she needs to undergo medical treatment abroad for a heart condition. She added that the President, while accepting her resignation, asked her to remain involved in overseeing the agency.
