President Prabowo Arrives in Indonesia Following State Visits to the US, UK, Jordan, and UAE
President Prabowo Subianto arrived in Indonesia on Friday, 27 February 2026, following official visits to several countries. Prabowo conducted working visits to the United States of America (USA), the United Kingdom, Jordan, and the United Arab Emirates (UAE).
According to the Office of the Presidential Secretariat, the Presidential Aircraft Garuda Indonesia-1, carrying President Prabowo and his delegation, arrived at Halim Perdanakusuma Air Base in Jakarta at approximately 09:00 WIB.
Amidst light rainfall, Prabowo’s arrival was welcomed by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka. Also present were State Secretary Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Defence Minister Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, and Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia. National Police Chief General Listyo Sigit Prabowo and Indonesian Armed Forces Commander General Agus Subiyanto were also in attendance.
President Prabowo conducted his working visit to Washington DC in the United States on Monday, 16 February 2026. In the United States, Prabowo attended a meeting with American and Indonesian business leaders at a Business Summit held at the US Chamber of Commerce Building in Washington DC on Wednesday, 18 February 2026 local time.
During this occasion, Prabowo witnessed the signing of 11 memoranda of understanding (MoUs) between Indonesian and American business entities valued at US$38.4 billion, equivalent to approximately Rp650 trillion.
One day later, Prabowo attended the inaugural Board of Peace (BoP) meeting initiated by US President Donald Trump in Washington DC. On the same day, Prabowo and Trump signed a reciprocal trade agreement between Indonesia and the United States. Furthermore, Prabowo also attended a meeting with 12 leaders of major American investment firms.
After leaving Washington DC, Prabowo travelled to London, the United Kingdom, to witness the signing of a framework agreement between the Indonesian Investment Management Agency (BPI Danantara) and Arm Limited in London on Monday, 23 February 2026. Subsequently, Prabowo travelled to Amman, the Hashemite Kingdom of Jordan, to meet with his friend King Abdullah II ibn Al-Hussein.
The two leaders held a meeting at Basman Palace in Amman, Jordan, on Wednesday, 25 February 2026. The meeting between Prabowo and King Abdullah II addressed strengthening coordination and strategic cooperation between the two nations, particularly in responding to the evolving humanitarian situation in the Middle East region, especially regarding Palestine.
