President Prabowo Subianto arrived at the forecourt of the Nusantara Building in the MPR, DPR and DPD complex in Jakarta on Friday to attend the 2026 MPR Annual Session and deliver his state address before members of the assemblies.

President Prabowo arrived at around 08.05 Western Indonesia Time, wearing a black suit and light blue tie, complete with a black peci. The head of state waved and greeted journalists positioned on the left side of the Nusantara Building forecourt.

After stepping out of the Maung Garuda presidential vehicle, he was received by MPR Speaker Ahmad Muzani and DPD Speaker Sultan Bachtiar Najamudin. The two then escorted Prabowo into the building.

On Friday, the MPR, DPR and DPD convened the MPR Annual Session and the Joint Session of the DPR and DPD, one agenda item of which was President Prabowo Subianto’s address on the delivery of the performance report of state institutions and the state address of the President of the Republic of Indonesia in conjunction with the 81st anniversary of the independence of the Republic of Indonesia.
