President Prabowo appoints new Ombudsman members

Under Presidential Decree No. 20/P of 2026, Hery Susanto was appointed chairperson and Rahmadi Indra Tektona deputy chairperson, along with seven other members.

The officials took an oath of office, pledging to carry out their duties and not accept any form of gratification.

The ceremony was attended by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and several cabinet members, including Coordinating Minister for Law, Human Rights, Immigration, and Corrections Yusril Ihza Mahendra and Coordinating Minister for Political and Security Affairs Djamari Chaniago.

Also present were State Secretariat Minister Prasetyo Hadi, Foreign Minister Sugiono, Energy and Mineral Resources Minister Bahlil Lahadalia, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin, National Police Chief Gen. Listyo Sigit Prabowo, and Cabinet Secretary Teddy Indra Wijaya, among others.
