President Prabowo Appoints New Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes and Rotates 29 Officials
President Prabowo Subianto has signed off on the appointment of several officials within the Attorney General’s Office (Kejagung), including the definitive Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes (Jampidsus), Kuntandi. The position was previously held by Febrie Adriansyah, who resigned after being implicated in a corruption case.
Minister of State Secretary Prasetyo Hadi confirmed the administrative follow-up on Wednesday (22/7/2026) and announced the new strategic appointments. Besides Kuntandi, Nana Mulyani was appointed as Deputy Attorney General, and Leonard Eben Ezer Simanjuntak as Junior Attorney General for General Crimes. Patris Yusrian was also appointed as Head of the Asset Recovery Agency.
In a separate move, Attorney General ST Burhanuddin rotated and transferred 29 officials within the Adhyaksa Corps. The reshuffle, formalised in a decree dated 22 July 2026, includes the replacement of the Director of Investigations within the Junior Attorney General for Special Crimes, Syarief Sulaeman Nahdi, who is moved to the Intelligence division. His position is filled by Rinaldi Umar, who was part of the ‘Team 9’ that handled the corruption case involving the former Jampidsus, Febrie Adriansyah.
Other notable rotations include Muhammad Syarifuddin, who was moved from Director of Operations Control at Jampidsus to a new post, and the transfer of two coordinators within the Special Crimes division, Dandeni Herdiana and Andi Suharlis. The Attorney General’s Office stated that the mutations and rotations are a routine organisational refresh aimed at improving public service and law enforcement.
