The National Nutrition Agency (BGN) has reshuffled its senior leadership, appointing five new high-level officials to strengthen the governance of the free nutritious meal programme (MBG).

BGN Deputy Head Agustina Arumsari stated that the five officials were directly appointed by President Prabowo Subianto via a presidential decree on Monday, 20 July 2026. “Yesterday afternoon we received a presidential decree signed by the President appointing these individuals as senior officials within BGN,” Agustina said during a press conference at her office in Jakarta on Tuesday.

She explained that the five officials come from various institutions. Prima Yosephine Berliana Tutiur Hutapea has been appointed as Deputy for Systems and Governance, replacing Tigor Pangaribuan. Prior to her new role, Prima served as Director of Infectious Diseases at the Ministry of Health. Agustina noted that Prima will be tasked with improving beneficiary data to ensure more accurate targeting, covering everything from target planning and distribution to the recording of beneficiaries by name and address, as well as monitoring and evaluation of programme achievements.

Additionally, President Prabowo appointed Zainuri as Deputy for Supply and Distribution, replacing Suardi Samira. Zainuri is an auditor who previously worked with Agustina at the Bureau of Finance of the Development Finance Comptroller (BPKP). The third official appointed is Mariman Darto as Deputy for Promotion and Cooperation, who was formerly an Expert Staff member for Talent Management. Furthermore, former South Sumatra High Prosecutor Ketut Sumedana has been appointed as Deputy for Monitoring and Supervision, while Lili Khamiliyah has been moved from her position as Head of the General and Finance Bureau of BGN to become the Principal Secretary.
