President Prabowo and VP Gibran Attend 28th PKB Anniversary Celebration

President Prabowo Subianto attended the peak celebration of the 28th Anniversary of the National Awakening Party (PKB) held at the Jakarta Convention Center (JCC) on Thursday evening. The Head of State arrived at the venue at 7:40 PM Western Indonesia Time, accompanied by Vice President Gibran Rakabuming Raka and PKB Chairman Abdul Muhaimin Iskandar. Upon arrival, the President greeted several invited guests and dignitaries who had arrived earlier. A number of national political figures and party leaders were also present at the celebration, including Gerindra Party Daily Chairman Sufmi Dasco Ahmad, Golkar Party Chairman Bahlil Lahadalia, PAN Chairman Zulkifli Hasan, and Democratic Party Chairman Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY). The peak event was the final part of the PKB’s 28th anniversary commemoration. Prior to this, the party had conducted various social and environmental activities, such as a visit to the Arus Kualan Traditional School in Ketapang Regency, West Kalimantan, and a tree-planting initiative through the ‘PKB Tree Party’ movement. The party also held a public discussion on artificial intelligence (AI), a mini-football tournament between political parties, and inaugurated the Sinergi Aksi Peduli Bangsa (Sigap Bangsa) organisation. Internally, PKB strengthened its organisational structure by inaugurating 19,675 Branch Executive Board (DPC) administrators from across Indonesia on Wednesday, a day before the peak event. Earlier on Thursday, the party also hosted an Ijtima’ Ulama Indonesia forum.
