President Prabowo and Singapore PM to Meet Today: What's on the Agenda?

Indonesian President Prabowo Subianto and Singaporean Prime Minister Lawrence Wong are set to hold their annual Singapore-Indonesia Leaders’ Retreat today, Monday, 6 July 2026. The meeting will address the progress of bilateral cooperation as well as regional and global issues. According to a press release from the Singapore Prime Minister’s Office, they will also receive updates on bilateral projects undertaken since the last Leaders’ Retreat in June 2025. Both leaders will discuss mechanisms to strengthen collaboration in several fields and exchange views on regional and global developments. The meeting aims to reaffirm the bilateral relationship between Indonesia and Singapore and deepen cooperation across various sectors. Prime Minister Wong will be accompanied by Deputy Prime Minister and Minister for Trade and Industry Gan Kim Yong, Coordinating Minister for Public Service and Minister for Defence Chan Shun Sing, Minister for Foreign Affairs Vivian Balakrishnan, Minister for Social and Family Development Masagos Zulkifli, and Minister for Manpower and Second Minister for Energy and Science and Technology Tan See Leng.
