President Prabowo and Cabinet Ministers Pay Zakat at Presidential Palace
President Prabowo Subianto and the ministers of the Red and White Cabinet paid zakat at the Presidential Palace in Jakarta. Payments of zakat mal and zakat fitrah were made through Baznas, the National Zakat Agency.
According to detikcom’s monitoring on Friday, 13 March 2026, the zakat payments took place at the State Palace building. Several ministers had already arrived by 14:45 Western Indonesia Time (WIB).
Inside the main hall, multiple tables with chairs were arranged facing one another. Baznas officials sat among the chairs to facilitate the zakat payments from government officials.
Vice President Gibran Rakabuming, who arrived earlier, subsequently paid his zakat through a Baznas officer.
President Prabowo then arrived at 16:00 WIB, accompanied by State Secretary (Mensesneg) Prasetyo Hadi and Cabinet Secretary (Seskab) Teddy Indra Wijaya.
Prabowo sat facing Baznas Chairman Dikdik Sodik Mudjahid. Dikdik was seen leading a joint prayer with the president.
After making his zakat payment, Prabowo walked towards the central hall of the Palace. The event continued with a Full Cabinet Session.
Present were Coordinating Minister for Political, Legal and Security Affairs (Menko Polkam) Djamari Chaniago, Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development (Menko Infrastruktur dan Pembangunan Kewilayahan) Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono (AHY), Coordinating Minister for Community Empowerment (Menko Pemberdayaan Masyarakat) Muhaimin Iskandar (Cak Imin), Coordinating Minister for Food (Menko Pangan) Zulkifli Hasan, Coordinating Minister for Economy (Menko Perekonomian) Airlangga Hartarto, Minister of Religious Affairs Nasaruddin Umar, Minister of Home Affairs Tito Karnavian, Minister of Defence Sjafrie Sjamsoeddin, Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources Bahlil Lahadalia, Minister of Forestry Raja Juli Antoni, Minister of Health Budi Gunadi Sadikin, Minister of Education, Culture, Research and Technology Abdul Mu’ti, and Minister of Digital Technology Meutya Hafid.
Also present were Minister of Finance Purbaya Yudhi Sadewa, Minister of Investment Rosan Roeslani, Minister of Creative Economy Teuku Riefky Harsya, Head of the National Land Agency Dadan Hindayana, Special Presidential Envoy for Food Security Muhamad Mardiono, and Special Presidential Envoy for Generation Building and Arts Worker Development Raffi Ahmad.
