President Prabowo Allocates Rp 5.41 Trillion for Regional Roads, Here's Kuningan's Share

President Prabowo Subianto has inaugurated the 2025 Presidential Instruction (Inpres) Regional Road Programme, spanning 1,151 kilometres with a total state budget investment of Rp 5.41 trillion across 37 provinces. One beneficiary is Kuningan Regency, West Java, which received a budget allocation of Rp 10.8 billion for handling the Cidahu–Luragung road segment stretching 2.8 kilometres. Kuningan Regent Dian Rachmat Yanuar attended the inauguration via Zoom from Lembur Pakuan, Subang Regency, alongside West Java Governor Dedi Mulyadi and several regents and mayors from across West Java on Tuesday (23/6/2026). The national launch was centred in Sampang Regency, Madura, East Java. Regent Dian stated that the Inpres Regional Road Programme demonstrates the central government’s attention to infrastructure development in the regions. Of the 17 regencies and cities in West Java receiving the programme, Kuningan is one. ‘Alhamdulillah, Kuningan Regency has received support through the Inpres Regional Road Programme. This is part of efforts to accelerate equitable development and improve public accessibility. Thank you, Mr President, for the regional road programme given to Kuningan,’ said Dian. The road segment to be handled includes the Cihideung Hilir–Getrak–Gunung Karung village section. Work will be carried out by PT Bina Cipta Utama starting the third week of November and is scheduled for completion by the end of December 2025. The remaining Gunung Karung–Luragung segment, spanning 2.5 kilometres, is planned for completion in 2026 through the Special Allocation Fund (DAK) for roads with a budget ceiling of approximately Rp 5 billion. President Prabowo Subianto said that regional road construction is a strategic step to accelerate economic growth and reduce inter-regional disparities. ‘We are determined that no region should be left behind due to limited access. We must lower logistics costs for all citizens and our economy,’ the president stated. According to the president, regional roads are the lifeblood of the people’s economy as they serve as distribution channels for agricultural, plantation, and fishery products, as well as various community goods, to markets and distribution centres.
