President Orders Danantara Chief to Announce Results of US-Europe Visit

President Prabowo Subianto summoned several ministers and high-ranking state officials to a meeting at his residence in the Kertanegara area of Jakarta. The meeting discussed various strategic issues, including the results of a working visit by Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM, who also leads Danantara, Rosan Roeslani, to a number of countries.

According to information provided by the Cabinet Secretariat, the meeting was attended by Minister of Investment and Downstreaming/Head of BKPM Rosan Roeslani, the Minister of Energy and Mineral Resources, the Minister of Finance, the Minister of Higher Education, Science, and Technology, the Head of the State-Owned Enterprises Regulatory Body, the Minister of State Secretary, and the Cabinet Secretary.

During the occasion, Prabowo received a report from Rosan regarding the results of his visits to the United States, several countries in Europe, and Asia. The report contains the latest developments concerning global investment interest in Indonesia.

According to the Cabinet Secretariat, the results of the visit demonstrate an increase in international confidence in Indonesia, reflected in the high level of investor interest in injecting capital into various national strategic sectors.

“The report shows valid facts and data indicating increased international confidence in Indonesia, reflected in the high interest and inflow of investment into various national strategic sectors,” stated the Cabinet Secretariat.

Prabowo also requested that information regarding these investment developments be conveyed openly to the public. Consequently, Rosan has been tasked with presenting the data and results of his visit at a press conference to be held at the Merdeka Palace today.

“The President also ordered Minister of Investment and Downstreaming Rosan Roeslani to present this positive data to the public openly on Monday, 15 June 2026, at the Merdeka Palace, as part of the government’s commitment to delivering complete and fact-based information to the public,” the statement continued.

The government considers transparency regarding investment information essential to provide a clear picture to the public of national economic developments and the positive response of global investors to the various policies currently being implemented.
