President Jokowi Distributes Holiday Allowance in Solo Amid Chaotic Crowds

Following the distribution activity, various residents’ belongings such as sandals, spectacles, and hats were scattered across the road due to the pressure of the queues. An elderly resident named Jinah admitted she had joined the queue but withdrew because she felt chest tightness. Despite not receiving a food package, she still received a holiday allowance from Jokowi. Meanwhile, another resident, Pri Utami, said she fell whilst being crushed in the crowd but managed to take home a food package containing rice, oil, instant noodles, sugar, as well as Rp50,000 in holiday allowance for Eid preparations.
