President inaugurates Meninting Dam to strengthen water and food security in Lombok

President Prabowo Subianto inaugurated the Meninting Dam in Bukit Tinggi Village, Gunungsari District, West Lombok, on Friday, as part of efforts to strengthen water and food security in the region. The dam, built at a cost of approximately Rp1.473 trillion, is one of five such projects and boasts a water capacity of 12.18 million cubic metres with an inundation area covering 46.16 hectares. The ceremony was witnessed by Coordinating Minister for Infrastructure and Regional Development Agus Harimurti Yudhoyono, Minister of Agriculture Andi Amran Sulaiman, and Minister of Public Works Dody Hanggodo, among other officials.
