President Erdogan: Terrorist Netanyahu is a Regional and Global Threat

REPUBLIKA.CO.ID, ISTANBUL — Turkey has once again voiced its confrontation regarding the acts of terrorism committed by Zionist Israel. President Recep Tayyip Erdogan stated that the terrorist acts led by war criminal Benjamin Netanyahu are disrupting peace in the Middle East region and threatening peace worldwide. Erdogan made these remarks in connection with his condemnation of the actions by Zionist Israel, in collaboration with the United States (US), which attacked the Islamic Republic of Iran. “The attack centred on Iran, launched since 28 February (2026) as a result of Netanyahu’s provocations, has further deepened instability in our region,” said Erdogan, as quoted from Anadolu Agency on Friday (20/3/2026). “Benjamin Netanyahu’s terrorism continues to pose a threat to regional and global peace,” he added. Erdogan also stated that the terrorist acts and genocidal crimes committed by Netanyahu are still ongoing in the Gaza region, Palestine. “The Zionist genocide network is still blocking aid supplies to Gaza, killing people there, destroying buildings and residents’ homes, and acting like bandits,” he said. Erdogan further emphasised the terrorist acts carried out by Netanyahu’s administration in closing access to Al-Aqsa Mosque. “Israel has closed Al-Aqsa Mosque, our first qibla in Islam for worship, using the Iran war as a pretext. They are accelerating illegal settlement activities and expansionist policies in the West Bank and other occupied Palestinian territories,” said Erdogan.
