PresGo International Culture Programme Empowers Students to Achieve Global Competitiveness
Sekolah Prestasi Global (PresGo) Depok has organised the PresGo International Culture programme in Malaysia as an effort to equip students with international experience and global insights. Through this educational trip, participants were invited to learn directly within an international educational environment, including a visit to Acmar International School in Selangor, Malaysia.
The programme is designed to address future challenges that demand more than just academic ability. In addition to knowledge, students also need to possess communication skills, adaptability, and the confidence to interact with communities from various cultural backgrounds.
During the visit to Acmar International School, students had the opportunity to observe international education systems firsthand. Furthermore, they were encouraged to use English in daily communication, build new relationships, and understand the cultural diversity encountered during the programme.
The Director of Sekolah Prestasi Global, Ahmad Faisal, stated that PresGo International Culture is the school’s step in preparing the younger generation to face the era of globalisation. “Through PresGo International Culture, we want to provide learning experiences that cannot be obtained solely within the classroom. Students are invited to interact directly with an international environment so that they possess greater courage, global insight, and stronger adaptability,” Faisal said in an official statement in Depok on Saturday (6/6/2026).
According to him, the success of the programme is not measured solely by the countries or institutions visited. Rather, the more important aspect is the learning process and the experiences gained by students during the activities. “We have observed many positive changes in the participants. They have become more confident in speaking English, more courageous in interacting with new people, and increasingly open to cultural differences and diverse perspectives,” said Faisal.
Throughout the programme, participants engaged in various interactions and discussions to broaden their perspectives. These experiences are expected to serve as essential foundations for supporting both the academic and character development of students in the future.
Faisal noted that the established cooperation with Acmar International School could evolve into broader collaborations. Planned programmes include cultural exchanges, joint student projects, and student exchange programmes. “This is not the end of the journey, but rather the beginning of opportunities for greater collaboration. We want to open more opportunities for students to learn, grow, and contribute at an international level,” said Faisal.
Through PresGo International Culture, Sekolah Prestasi Global Depok reaffirms its commitment to producing a generation that is not only academically excellent but also possesses strong character, global insight, and the readiness to be part of an increasingly connected global society.
