Present in 400 Cities Across Indonesia, Maxim Boosts Transportation Mobility in the Country
Maxim has arrived in 400 cities in Indonesia, affirming its position as one of the mobile app-based technology companies with rapid development over the past five years.
“It is a matter of pride for us to have surpassed the 400-city mark,” said Director of Development for Maxim Indonesia, Dirhamsyah.
Maxim Indonesia’s first office was opened in Jakarta in 2018, introducing motorbike (bike), car, and delivery services. Currently, the services available in the Maxim app offer more than 16 options that can be tailored to each user’s needs.
The company focuses on regional development and operates in nearly every populated area to ensure equitable access to modern mobility services. Expansion into various regions also creates employment opportunities, reduces poverty and unemployment, and improves transportation access for local communities.
This growth in the number of cities is supported by the “Business with Maxim” programme, which allows entrepreneurs to launch Maxim services in their own cities. Currently, the company has more than 250 successful business partners developing Maxim’s online transportation exclusively in various regions.
“Maxim thanks the Indonesian people, especially users, driver partners, and business partners, who have joined us in making modern transportation services easily accessible,” said Dirhamsyah.
Safety, according to him, remains an important part of every Maxim service. The app is equipped with features such as ‘Share Ride’, ‘SOS Button’, and the ‘SIP Call’ system for direct communication between drivers and passengers within the app.
Maxim also provides the YPSSI (Yayasan Pengemudi Selamat Sejahtera Indonesia) protection programme, which offers compensation in the event of accidents while using Maxim services, as well as collaborating with Jasa Raharja and BPJS Ketenagakerjaan to strengthen protection for partners and users.
Maxim believes that business growth must go hand in hand with improvements in service quality and reliable protection for partners and users. “Therefore, we continue to create new solutions and are open to collaborating with various parties who have an interest in safe and comfortable journeys,” he said.
The 400th Maxim city is currently Juwana City, Central Java. This growth reflects the increasing need of the community for mobility services in various regions. In the future, Maxim will continue to expand and develop its services to meet the needs of the community in various regions of Indonesia.
