Jakarta, VIVA – Pertamina’s gas subholding, PT Perusahaan Gas Negara (Persero) Tbk (PGN), is establishing the PGN Co Space at Mulawarman University (Unmul) in Samarinda, East Kalimantan.

PGN’s Director of Infrastructure & Technology, Hery Murahmanta, stated that this facility is designed as a collaborative space for students, academics, and industry to develop ideas, innovation, and talent within the energy sector. He noted that the presence of PGN Co Space is part of the corporation’s efforts to provide sustainable added value to society, particularly in supporting the development of the younger generation.

“We hope PGN Co Space will become a space for collaboration and innovation for students, academics, and industry—a place where ideas, knowledge, creativity, and networks meet to produce tangible ideas and benefits,” Hery said in a statement on Thursday, 17 September 202<0xC2>6.

“What we are building is not just a physical space. We want this space to be alive with activity, creativity, and collaboration. We hope that from this space, superior innovations and talents for the future of Indonesia will emerge,” he added.

Meanwhile, the Vice Rector for Academic Affairs at Mulawarman University, Prof. Dr. Lambang Subagiyo, noted that with approximately 3,500 students at the Faculty of Engineering, the PGN Co Space is expected to support broader student activities, with a target usage of around 50–70 students per day.
