Preparing for Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026: Pertamina Readies Energy Services and Accommodation
PT Pertamina (Persero) is strengthening its energy supply readiness and transportation support ahead of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026. The world-class racing event is scheduled to take place from 9–11 October 2026 at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit in Central Lombok, West Nusa Tenggara.
Muhammad Baron, VP of Corporate Communication at PT Pertamina (PersancellationToken), stated that the company’s full support encompasses reliable energy supplies, ease of public mobility, and the active involvement of consumers and communities.
To anticipate the surge in fuel demand during the event, Pertamina is placing seven main petrol stations on high alert across Central Lombok, West Lombok, and Mataram City. Pertamina is also increasing supplies along tourist routes and access roads leading to the circuit.
Regarding aviation, the supply of avtur (aviation turbine fuel) is guaranteed to be secure to serve the increased frequency of both passenger and logistics flights to Lombok. Meanwhile, to support flight accessibility, Pertamina’s subsidiary, Pelita Air, is preparing 10 extra round-trip flights on the Jakarta-Lombok route for the period of 8–12 October 2026.
Through Patra Jasa, Pertamina will, for the first time, introduce hospitality capabilities at the Pertamina Camping Ground via Patra Facility Management services. These services range from housekeeping to supporting amenities to ensure the comfort of motorcycle community touring participants at the Pertamina Mandalika International Circuit.
Through the MyPertamina application, Pertamina is offering convenience in purchasing Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia tickets with discounts of up to 10 per cent and transaction point bonuses until 11 October 2026. Pertamina is also bringing the excitement of the event closer to the public through the ‘Fuel The Moment’ content contest at specially decorated MotoGP-themed petrol stations from 11 September to 2 October 2026. This programme offers prizes including viewing tickets and e-vouchers.
Furthermore, official merchandise for the event can be obtained through MyPertamina or at Pertamina Retail booths located at airports and the circuit area.
The quality of Pertamina’s products will once again be tested on the racetrack. Pertamax Turbo will officially be used as the fuel for the safety car, which oversees safety throughout all racing sessions.
On the competition’s main stage, Pertamina brings Indonesia to the global level through the Pertamina Enduro VR46 Racing Team. This Ducati satellite team, featuring riders Fabio Di Giannantonio and Franco Morbidelli, is prepared to compete while promoting Pertamina’s lubricant brand worldwide.
“The readiness of energy infrastructure, the reliability of services, and the presence of our flagship products on the circuit are manifestations of Pertamina’s real commitment to supporting the success of this world-class event. We hope the presence of the Pertamina Grand Prix of Indonesia 2026 can continue to strengthen the national sport tourism ecosystem while providing a positive economic impact for the local community,” said Baron.
