Prepare for Civil Servant Recruitment! PANRB Minister: Registration in Early 2027

Jakarta, CNBC Indonesia - Minister for Administrative and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Rini Widyantini has revealed that the civil servant (PNS) recruitment process will commence in 2027.

She stated that the registration process will begin in the early period of next year.

“Registration is estimated to begin in early 2027,” Rini said in the vicinity of the DPR Building, Jakarta, on Tuesday (18/8/2026).

Rini said that the PNS selection process may be followed by state civil apparatus (ASN) who hold the status of government employees with work agreements (PPPK), including teachers.

“PPPK teachers will be given the opportunity to participate in the PNS selection,” Rini emphasised.

Rini said that this series of processes will subsequently be followed by the appointment of part-time PPPK workers, including teachers, to become full-time PPPK.

“Part-time PPPK workers will be given the opportunity to become full-time PPPK, which will be carried out in 2027,” Rini stressed.

According to Rini, at least 231,246 part-time PPPK teachers will be appointed as full-time PPPK, out of a current total of 955,245.

“And coincidentally, at present there is a projected fulfilment of national teacher needs of 526,689 formations, which of course consists of the Ministry of Religious Affairs, primary and secondary education, Sekolah Rakyat, and Sekolah Garuda,” Rini concluded.
