Prediction of Price for New Chinese Electric SUV Leapmotor B10
JAKARTA – The official price of the Leapmotor B10 has not yet been announced. However, the electric SUV, which will debut at GIIAS 2026, is expected to become a serious contender in Indonesia’s mid-range electric vehicle segment.
Chief Executive Officer of PT Indomobil National Distributor, Tan Kim Piauw, said that the company is still calculating before announcing the official price tag for the vehicle.
“The new price we can announce later at GIIAS. First, we’re still calculating, and we’re also looking at the exchange rate, our currency against foreign currencies,” Tan said in Jakarta on 5 May 2026.
“We’re also looking at the costs, which are not yet stable. Transportation costs are also not stable yet. So at GIIAS, we will definitely be able to say,” he added.
Although there is no official figure yet, the Leapmotor B10 is predicted to be marketed at a competitive price in the range of Rp 300 million to Rp 400 million.
For comparison, in the Chinese market, Leapmotor sells the B10 starting from 99,800 yuan, or about Rp 250 million, up to 119,800 yuan, equivalent to Rp 305 million.
However, the price for the Indonesian market is likely to adjust for import costs, taxes, and the local assembly process.
Its electric motor produces power up to 215 hp (160 kW) and torque of 240 Nm, with 0-100 km/h acceleration in around 8 seconds.
Not only that, safety aspects are also a key selling point. This electric SUV is reported to have obtained a 5-star rating from Euro NCAP and ANCAP.
With a combination of modern technology, long range, and an aggressively predicted price, the Leapmotor B10 has the potential to become one of the most attractive new players when it launches at GIIAS 2026.
