Prayer Times for Denpasar and Surrounding Areas, 26 August 2026
Muslims living in Denpasar and the surrounding areas need not worry about prayer times. The Directorate General of Islamic Community Guidance at the Ministry of Religious Affairs has released the prayer schedule for various regions today.
This schedule covers the times for the obligatory prayers of Subuh, Zuhur, Asar, Maghrib, and Isya. Knowing the prayer schedule is very important for Muslims as a reminder not to miss the designated prayer times.

- Intention for Subuh Prayer
Ushalli fardhol subhi rak’ataini mustaqhbilal kiblati ada-an ma’muman/imaaman lillahi ta’ala
Meaning: I intend to perform the obligatory Subuh prayer, two rak’ahs, facing the qibla, as a follower/imam, for the sake of Allah Ta’ala.
- Intention for Zuhur Prayer
Ushalli fardhol dzuhri arba’a rakatain mustaqhbilal kiblati ada-an ma’muman/imaaman lillahi ta’ala
Meaning: I intend to perform the obligatory Zuhur prayer, four rak’ahs, facing the qibla, as a follower/imam, for the sake of Allah Ta’ala.
- Intention for Asar Prayer
Ushalli fardhol ashri arba’a rak’ataini mustaqbilal qiblati ada-an ma’muman/imaaman lillahi ta’ala
Meaning: I intend to perform the obligatory Asar prayer, four rak’ahs, facing the qibla, as a follower/imam, for the sake of Allah Ta’ala.
- Intention for Maghrib Prayer
Usholli fardhol maghribi tsalasa rak’ataini mustaqbilal kiblati ada-an ma’muman/imaaman lillahi ta’ala
Meaning: I intend to perform the obligatory Maghrib prayer, three rak’ahs, facing the qibla, as a follower/imam, for the sake of Allah Ta’ala.
- Intention for Isya Prayer
Ushalli fardhol ’isya’i arba’a rak’ataini mustaqbilal qiblati ada-an ma’muman/imaaman lillahi ta’ala
Meaning: I intend to perform the obligatory Isya prayer, four rak’ahs, facing the qibla, as a follower/imam, for the sake of Allah Ta’ala.
Notes:
If praying alone, use the wording ‘adaan’.
If acting as a follower, use the wording ‘ma’muman’.
