Prayer house
Prayer house
From Media Indonesia
Minister of Tourism, Post and Telecommunications Joop Ave said
in an interview with a private television station that hotels do
provide enough facilities to meet regulations. But they fail to
address certain spiritual aspects, and many do not provide a
prayer house, or mushola.
I acknowledge the minister's statement but as a Moslem
businessman, I often have meetings and functions at hotels. It is
always difficult to find a mushola for sholat. In Singapore, for
example, even with a population that is predominantly Chinese,
one can find a mushola in most star-rated hotels.
I hope that Indonesian hotels will take this matter into
consideration.
