Pramono Warns of 3 Kg LPG Supply Issues, Requests Strict Distribution Oversight

JAKARTA - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has requested that the distribution of 3 kg LPG be tightly guarded to anticipate potential supply disruptions amid global conflicts. According to Pramono, 3 kg LPG is a basic necessity for the public that must always be available, particularly for households and micro-business operators. He explained that the unstable global geopolitical conditions, along with the potential impact of the El Nino phenomenon, could affect the energy supply chain, including petroleum fuels (BBM) and LPG. “We are specifically monitoring matters related to BBM and 3 kg LPG, so as not to be caught off guard when issues arise,” he continued. One of the measures includes beginning to develop renewable energy. “We are starting to develop alternative energy such as solar panels as part of efforts to improve energy efficiency,” Pramono stated.
