Pramono Visits Pasar Minggu Through-Road Site, Promises Completion by 2027

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo, accompanied by Member of the Indonesian House of Representatives (DPR RI) Denny Cagur and the Head of the Jakarta ATR/BPN Regional Office Lutfi Zakaria, inspected the progress of the Pasar Minggu through-road construction site in Pejaten Timur on Monday (14/09/2026). Pramono revealed that the project, which runs parallel to the railway, was actually initiated during the era of Governor Fauzi Bowo.

“The Jakarta Provincial Government, through the Department of Highways, and I am re-checking the road that was actually planned since the time of Bang Foke in 2013, but until today, it has not been completed,” Pramono told reporters.

Upon first reading news regarding the stalled project, Pramono admitted to being shocked. The Pasar Minggu through-road, which spans from near the State Intelligence Agency (BIN) headquarters to the eastern side of Pasar Minggu Station towards Tanjung Barat, has reportedly remained unfinished for a significant period.
