Pramono urges regional planning to align with conditions in each area
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung Wibowo has issued directives to all his subordinates, urging that Jakarta’s development planning takes into account the conditions in each respective city and regency. According to him, there are still differences in achievements across several key indicators, including the economy and the human development index. “This indicates that future development directions must be area-based and oriented towards equity,” Pramono stated while attending the Development Planning Deliberation (Musrenbang) as part of the preparation of the 2027 Regional Government Work Plan (RKPD) at the Grand Hall, Jakarta City Hall, on Thursday. Furthermore, Pramono hopes for stronger commitment from heads of regional apparatus along with their teams in compiling and implementing the 2027 development planning in a synergistic, directed, and results-oriented manner. He views the Musrenbang as having the objective of aligning development priorities while strengthening synergy among stakeholders. Not only involving the ranks within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government, the Musrenbang also includes active participation from the community in the development planning process. As is known, a total of 61,174 community aspiration proposals have been collected through Musrenbang, direct proposals, and the results of DPRD recesses. Thus, it is hoped that the development carried out will be able to address community needs, reduce inter-regional disparities, and drive sustainable progress for Jakarta. “May these efforts result in optimal development planning to realise Jakarta as a competitive, sustainable global city that brings prosperity to its residents,” Pramono expressed.
