Pramono Urges Action Against Sellers of Free-Transit Jakcards
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has insisted that those who sell Jakcards or the free-transit service cards issued by the Jakarta Provincial Government on X should face firm action.
‘I happen to be following this, and I am asking that anyone who does this, including if there are indications of insider involvement, be subjected to firm action,’ Pramono said at City Hall on Wednesday.
Pramono stressed that Jakarta’s transport governance system is run transparently and openly, including information about the ownership of the free-service cards.
‘Because this is now part of transparency in the management of the transport system in Jakarta, including who owns the cards, it should be carried out transparently and openly,’ he said.
According to information gathered, an X account @lalaputriis is suspected of trading Jakcards or the free-transit cards issued by the Jakarta Provincial Government.
The cards are known to be facilities from Pemprov DKI for 15 categories of people who can use Transjakarta, MRT Jakarta, and LRT Jakarta for free.
In its post, the account offered the cards at a set price.
The account also claimed to have limited stock and asked prospective buyers who had already transferred money to obtain the cards.
The 15 categories of people eligible for free public transport in DKI are governed by Pergub 33/2025.
The 15 categories are: Elderly (60 years and over) with Jakarta ID; People with disabilities holding a special disability card; Veterans of the Republic of Indonesia; Raskin recipients/holders of the KKS; Residents of Kepulauan Seribu proven by ID.
Then Administrators of Places of Worship: mosque marbots, church administrators, temple, pagoda, and Chinese temples (klenteng) in Jakarta; Teachers and PAUD educators: non-PNS educators; Jumantik (Juru Pemantau Jentik) officers; Civil servants and contract staff within the TNI/Polri.
Students Eligible for KJP/KJMU; Holders of Jakarta Pintar Card/Jakarta Students Card; Residents of Rusunawa; Contract staff of the DKI Provincial Government; Civil servants and retirees of the DKI Provincial Government; PKK Movement Team; Employees paid at the UMP.
