Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will send the ten sub-district heads who were finalists in the 2026 Benyamin S Award to study abroad.

Pramono made the announcement at the 2026 Benyamin S Award ceremony in Jakarta on Friday (30 October). He said the sub-district heads would have the opportunity to learn and broaden their perspectives on managing their areas.

“The ten sub-districts that were finalists will be given the opportunity by the Jakarta Provincial Government to study abroad, so that their perspectives and ways of thinking can change,” Pramono said.

The ten finalists were Kebon Sirih, Kelapa Gading Timur, Srengseng, Sukabumi Utara, Taman Sari, Kebon Baru, Cilandak Barat, Utan Kayu Selatan, Malaka Sari and Pulau Panggang.

They competed for awards recognising sub-districts that are clean, comfortable, beautiful and prosperous.

Utan Kayu Selatan won in the comfort category, Kelapa Gading Timur in the beauty category, and Sukabumi Utara in the prosperity category.

The Benyamin S Award is an initiative by the Jakarta Provincial Government to recognise sub-district heads across Jakarta who have succeeded in improving the quality of their areas.

The award honours sub-districts committed to making Jakarta clean, comfortable, beautiful and prosperous.
