Jakarta — The Jakarta Provincial Government will crack down on all padel sports courts deemed to be disrupting public order and residents’ comfort.

This was announced by Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung during a press conference at Jakarta City Hall in Central Jakarta on Thursday, 19 February 2026.

Pramono disclosed that he would summon all stakeholders involved in padel court licensing. His administration will conduct a thorough review of the permits.

“Next week I will invite all stakeholders specifically related to padel permits,” Pramono said.

“I will request a presentation, and for areas where communities are being disturbed because the operations do not comply with the permits granted,” he continued.

He affirmed that the Jakarta Provincial Government would revoke padel court permits if they are proven to be disrupting public order and residents’ comfort.

“The DKI Jakarta Government will certainly not hesitate to take firm action on this matter,” Pramono stressed.
