Pramono to hold dialogue with PPSU officers next week
Jakarta (ANTARA) - Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung will gather Public Infrastructure and Facilities Handling Officers (PPSU) next week for a dialogue. “Next week, we will hold a town hall, gathering the PPSU officers, where the governor will directly deliver directives and dialogue with them,” Pramono said in Jakarta on Sunday. The dialogue is in connection with follow-up actions on public complaints regarding the use of artificial intelligence (AI) in Kalisari Subdistrict, East Jakarta, and the positive performance of PPSU officers in their duties. Meanwhile, regarding the follow-up on the deactivation of the Kalisari Subdistrict Head, Pramono said he is still awaiting the report. “For Kalisari, as this is currently being handled by the Inspectorate and the Regional Civil Service Agency (BKD), as governor, I will wait for that report,” Pramono stated. The viral social media post showed a PPSU officer using AI technology to respond to public reports on illegal parking on Damai Street, Kalisari Subdistrict. Jakarta Provincial Inspector Dhany Sukma stated that a systematic examination has been conducted, referring to government internal audit standards, to uncover facts and determine necessary steps and follow-ups. The Jakarta Provincial Inspectorate recommended to the East Jakarta Administrative City Mayor to deactivate the Kalisari Subdistrict Head. Additionally, the involved employees, namely the Head of the Government Section of Kalisari Subdistrict and the Head of the Economy and Development Section of Kalisari Subdistrict, are recommended to receive disciplinary sanctions and guidance. Furthermore, three PPSU officers proven to be involved will be subject to sanctions in accordance with the general contract terms.
