Pramono Targets Jakarta Fair 2026 Transactions to Reach IDR 8 Trillion

Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has stated that the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran is an iconic celebration of the capital’s anniversary. This year’s event is particularly special as Jakarta will commemorate its 500th anniversary next year. For this year, he projects the transaction value will reach IDR 8 trillion with more than 6 million visitors. Pramono noted that the total transactions at last year’s Jakarta Fair reached IDR 7.3 trillion. He hopes that both visitor numbers and transactions will increase this year. ‘Congratulations to Jakarta Fair, which is livelier than last year. Hopefully, transactions will exceed IDR 8 trillion and attendance will top 6 million,’ Pramono said in his speech. He expressed hope that next year’s Jakarta Fair Kemayoran will be even more vibrant. ‘I hope next year’s Jakarta Fair will be livelier, with more attendees and transactions exceeding IDR 9 trillion,’ Pramono added. The opening of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran was marked by the striking of a kenong by Pramono, Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman, and General Chairperson of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran Committee Hartati Murdaya. This year’s event is livelier as the number of participants has increased from the previous year.
