Pramono Signs Jakarta Governor Regulation on RSUD Tariff Adjustments, Including Increases
Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has revealed that he has established a Governor Regulation (Pergub) regarding the adjustment of tariffs for Regional Public Hospitals (RSUD).
“With this, I have issued the Governor Regulation. It is Governor Regulation Number 17 of 2026, and I have signed it,” said Pramono while conducting an agenda in Central Jakarta on Friday (4/9).
Governor Regulation Number 17 of 2026 discusses the adjustment of regional retribution tariffs in the health sector. The adjustment includes an increase, as Pramono stated that current healthcare service tariffs in Jakarta’s RSUD are the lowest.
The latest regulation details the service objects provided by regional public service agencies, along with regular tariffs, non-regular tariffs, and their respective units.
Pramono admitted that because the healthcare service tariffs provided by the Jakarta Provincial Government are the lowest, an adjustment is necessary.
“Indeed, the Jakarta Provincial Government’s healthcare tariffs are the lowest, so an adjustment is required,” he explained.
“And when the adjustment is proposed, it will not be a burden because for residents who are unable to pay, people with disabilities, the elderly, and BPJS Kesehatan holders, everything remains free. This is for residents who are able to pay,” Pramono added.
He also emphasised that several RSUDs now provide specialised services, necessitating a tariff adjustment to ensure that subsidies are accurately targeted.
“In several RSUDs owned by the Jakarta Provincial Government, there are now services that are VIP in nature. Naturally, if we do not adjust the tariffs, we will be subsidising those who are capable and have the means to visit the hospital,” said Pramono.
