Pramono Reshuffles Officials, Asep Kuswanto No Longer Head of DKI Environmental Agency

JAKARTA, KOMPAS.com — Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has reshuffled the high-ranking officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government by inaugurating 11 echelon II officials at City Hall on Wednesday (15/4/2026).

One of the positions affected by the change is the Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency (LH), now held by Dudi Gardesi Asikin, replacing Asep Kuswanto.

Dudi previously served as Deputy Head of the DKI Jakarta Environmental Agency. Meanwhile, Asep Kuswanto has been transferred to the role of Assistant Deputy Governor for spatial planning.

This change is part of the rotation and promotion of 11 echelon II officials within the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government. Pramono stated that the position adjustments are intended to fill strategic roles while improving government performance.

He also assured that the entire process of appointing officials was conducted through discussions between himself, Deputy Governor Rano Karno, and Jakarta Regional Secretary Uus Kuswanto, utilising the civil servant (ASN) talent management system.

“We three communicated and discussed to determine the names, and then used talent management because this is the authority of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Governor,” he said.

With this rotation, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government aims to ensure all positions are fully filled without any more acting heads (plt).

“Hopefully, this choice is the best for Jakarta,” Pramono said.
