Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung officially opened the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran (JFK) 2026 at JIEXPO Kemayoran, Central Jakarta, on Thursday evening (11/6). The largest, most comprehensive, and longest-running multi-product exhibition in the Southeast Asian region will entertain visitors over a period of 32 days. Pramono stated that the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran is an icon of the Jakarta anniversary celebrations. This year’s event holds special significance because next year Jakarta will celebrate its 500th anniversary. He expressed his hope that next year’s Jakarta Fair Kemayoran will be even more festive. ‘I hope that next year’s Jakarta Fair will be more vibrant, with greater attendance and transactions exceeding Rp9 trillion,’ said Pramono. Pramono noted that last year, the total transactions at the Jakarta Fair reached Rp7.3 trillion. He expects the number of visitors and the transaction value to increase this year. ‘Congratulations to the Jakarta Fair, may it be more festive than last year. Hopefully, transactions will surpass Rp8 trillion and attendance will top 6 million,’ said Pramono. The opening of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran was marked by the striking of a ‘kenong’ traditional instrument by Pramono, Minister of MSMEs Maman Abdurrahman, and Chairperson of the Jakarta Fair Kemayoran Committee Hartati Murdaya. This year’s event is more festive as the number of participants has increased compared to the previous year. A total of 2,800 participants and 1,800 stands/tenants are recorded, with a composition of 55 percent from the private sector and 45 percent from the MSME sector, showcasing their flagship products across the entire area. Meanwhile, the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government Pavilion is located in Hall C1 at this year’s event. Many stands have been set up in Hall C1, including those from the Health Agency, Transportation Agency, Housing and Settlement Areas Agency, Bank Jakarta, PAM Jaya, DKI Jakarta Regional Revenue Agency, MRT Jakarta, Pasar Jaya, and several others.
