Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung has instructed all ranks of the DKI Jakarta Provincial Government to coordinate with law enforcement officers and community leaders to maintain a safe and conducive situation. This directive follows a clash between residents that occurred in the Jalan Matraman Dalam to Jalan Tambak area, Menteng, Central Jakarta. Pramono stated that coordination is being carried out with security forces, community leaders, religious leaders, and youth leaders as a measure to maintain security stability in the area. ‘So, we have coordinated between the TNI, Polri, and the DKI Jakarta Government to keep the situation conducive,’ Pramono said at DKI Jakarta City Hall on Monday, 27 July 2026. He expressed hope that law enforcement officers would handle the case professionally through an investigation and inquiry process in accordance with the provisions of the applicable laws and regulations. Previously, a clash between residents broke out on Jalan Tambak, Menteng, Central Jakarta, on Sunday, 26 July 2026. According to Central Jakarta Metro Police Chief Senior Commissioner Reynold E. P.
