Jakarta Governor Pramono Anung visited the Thousand Islands region to inspect several public facilities and inaugurate infrastructure to support services for islanders.

According to detikcom’s observation at Pramuka Island in the Thousand Islands on Friday, 13 March 2026, he arrived at the Plaza Regency Pier on Pramuka Island at approximately 08:30 WIB. Upon arriving at Pramuka Island, Pramono inspected several public service facilities.

One of these was the Thousand Islands Regional Hospital to directly observe healthcare services for local residents. Additionally, Pramono also inspected an affordable market programme organised by the local government to maintain food price stability during Ramadan.

“Alhamdulillah, yes it is busy, many small business merchants are selling, and there are also affordable essentials available. Hopefully these kinds of activities can be held regularly,” said a resident named Zatur, aged 43, at the location.

During the visit, Pramono also inaugurated the Domestic Wastewater Management System (SPALD). This is expected to improve sanitation and environmental quality for residents on Pramuka Island.

After completing activities on Pramuka Island, Pramono continued his journey to Pari Island. On Pari Island, Pramono will inaugurate a port pier belonging to the Transportation Service, which is expected to strengthen maritime transport connectivity for residents and tourists.

Subsequently, Pramono will travel to Untung Jawa Island, where he will perform communal Friday prayers with residents.
