Pramono Inaugurates Tian Fu Gong Temple in PIK: Hopes it Will Bring Prosperity

“Hopefully, this temple will bring blessings, harmony, togetherness, beauty, comfort, happiness, and most importantly, increase our collective prosperity. Jakarta, as a global city that is advanced, inclusive, and sustainable, is certainly something we all hope for,” said Pramono in his speech at the Tian Fu Gong Temple on Sunday (17/5/2026).

Pramono hopes that the Tian Fu Gong Temple and several other places of worship can become destinations for religious and cultural tourism. He believes that the promotional efforts made by PIK have been well executed.

“The next thing is, of course, to be a destination for religious and cultural tourism. Why is this important? I believe that we are not inferior in any way; it’s just that our presentation is often lacking. The promotion isn’t good enough. But seeing that PIK 2 has prepared things like this, with Catholic, Islamic, Buddhist, and Taoist places of worship, I am confident that people will come to this place. They will definitely come to this place,” he said.

Pramono also hopes that the Tian Fu Gong Temple can become a center for social interaction among its followers. He hopes that visitors can learn about culture and their ancestors’ origins when visiting the temple.

“I hope, I really hope that this Tian Fu Gong Temple will first and foremost be a center for social interaction for its followers, and also what the Director mentioned earlier about how to learn about culture, traditions, and the origins of our ancestors, which is what makes all of you such extraordinary individuals,” he said.
